Witcher 3 Stun Vs Stagger

As far as I'm aware, stun affects everything. You probably have a 5% rune on it only, and aren't getting much use from it at all. I've been able to stun wyverns, earth elementals, bandits, foglets, cyclops and the like because I built my sword with three of the highest level stun runes.

Wound and stagger are special effects in Dauntless. In order to wound or stagger an enemy, you’ll have to do enough damage, but not the regular kind. Both effects have their own special types of damage, and some weapons are better at causing it than others. If you’re having trouble wrapping your head around the mechanics, this guide will show you how to stagger & wound behemoths in Dauntless, so you can complete the Combat Alchemy quest.

How to stagger enemies?

This is a guide to beating the Boss Pride and Joy Prototype in the game Final Fantasy 7 Remake (FF7R). This article explains how to unlock this Secret Super Boss, Pride and Joy Prototype's attack patterns, weaknesses, and tips and strategies for defeating them. Lately I've noticed that I stun or stagger an opponent with one hit, regardless if I'm using a normal or silver sword. Is anyone else having this problem? It really kills the difficulty if I can just stun lock groups of enemies. I'm running the GOG version. Update: Okay, so my normal sword has an 8% chance to stagger, while the silver has a 12% chance to stun with another rune slotted to.

In order to stagger a behemoth, you should use a hammer. Also, your best bet would be to aim for the head. If the damage numbers that appear with each hit are blue, you’re doing it right. When you’ve done enough stagger damage, the behemoth will become staggered. This will stun the beast and make it drop to the ground, allowing you to whack it with reckless abandon until it gets up.

Dauntless wound damage

If you want to wound a behemoth, you’ll need to use the appropriate weapon, like the war pike. You should target a specific part, because each one has separate wound health. If you’re doing it right, the damage numbers will be red. When you’ve done enough damage, the enemy will become wounded. You’ll see a blue glow on the wounded part, and cutting attacks will do more part damage to said part, making it easier to break it.

Once you’ve completed the Combat Alchemy quest, you’ll get crafting recipes for the Assault and Insight tonics. The first one will increase the amount of stagger damage you do for a while, while the second one improves your wound damage for a certain amount of time. They’ll prove to be essential tools later on, as you progress to more difficult behemoths.

How to Fight

The best way to deal with Grave Hags is to stagger or stun them and use those openings to attack them. You can do this by casting the Aard Sign or the Axii Sign to temporarily stop them and use that opening to attack. You can also cast the Yrden Sign and fight around the Yrden trap or drink a Black Blood Potion to slow down its relentless attacks.

It is also possible to counter the tongue lash of the Grave Hag in order to sever its tongue.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Necrophage oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare a Black Blood Potion incase you are having trouble dealing with the Grave Hag's relentless attacks.
